Welsh Rowan record bow

Draw weight 110 lbs @ 30"

Bow dimensions as follows:-

Centre section - 32.mm wide x 30.4mm deep, 80.5 " nock to nock

Cow horn side nocks - 1/2" diameter at the base, 1 1/2" internal cone

Finished with linseed oil and bees wax

Tiller to full compass

Flemish twist, British hemp 60 strand 3-ply string, bees wax, 4mm diameter

Linen serving

The bow was heat-treated but not reflexed or the belly resin impregnated.  Stave had a natural recurve on one limb and 1" of unbraced reflex.  The belly suffered from fretting due to the yew Mary Rose bow section and could have been made wider and flatter for more longevity at the cost of arrow speed.
