Warbow Wales’s events are co-ordinated by Meistr y Targedau / Captain to the Marks - Jeremy Spencer
Jeremy is a man of Monmouth and Master Warbowyer of the Traditional Craft Guild of Bowyers and Fletchers.
He passionate adherent of the shooting, making and history of the Welsh warbow and has many run primitive and longbow shoots in Wales.
He co-founded the English Warbow Society and achieved its highest accolade, the ‘Purple Badge’ for strong shooting, before moving on to create Warbow Wales to promote the warbow in its and his own country.
He currently holds the FITA World Flight Record for the longest shot with a heavy longbow and wooden arrow whilst shooting for his shire of Monmouth
Shooting a Welsh yew warbow, he has featured on TV’s Time Team – Tregrug Castle and Rory and Paddy’s Great British Adventure – Monmouthshire episode and Fishlock's Wales as well as numerous radio interviews and has written several warbow articles for The Glade.
