WARBOW WALES
is the home of the Welsh medieval longbow. It is a not-for-profit group of like minded bowmen and women who want to celebrate and shoot the iconic Welsh weapon in a sporting way. No membership is required as all shoots are pay-as-you-go and also covers shooting insurance. Costs are kept as low as possible. Whilst Warbow Wales is not a re-enactment society, living history enthusiasts are welcome to come to shoots in period dress. It encourages strong and accurate shooting in the spirit of companionship and friendly competition. Shoots in and around Monmouthshire, the Welsh archery heartland, will be held in historically accurate events. Modern longbow archers can connect with and fully respect the prowess of their ancestors.

New - A beautiful new venue for our Agincourt Shoot
Graciously hosted by the Vaughan’s of Courtfield. Sir Roger Vaughan of Bredwardine was killed at Agincourt fighting alongside Henry V.
The Courtfield Estate is no longer in Wales, but was historically a detached parish of the county of Monmouthshire.
Courtfield is the manor house of Welsh Bicknor and was originally known as Greyfield or Greenfield. The name was changed to honour the fact that King Henry V spent his formative years there as an eight year old, following the death of his mother Mary de Bohun.
What better venue for an Agincourt Shoot this side of the channel?
